===== NGC 7723 17.5" (9/15/90): moderately bright, moderately large, oval 3:2 SW-NE, very small bright core, large diffuse halo. NGC 7727 lies 40' NNE. Located 20' ENE of mag 5.7 SAO 165804. 8" (8/28/81): faint, moderately large, elongated. Located 20' ENE of a mag 6 star.
