Steve's Notes

===== NGC 7541 17.5" (8/10/91): bright, fairly large, edge-on 4:1 WNW-ESE, 3.0'x0.75', large slightly brighter middle bulges. Has an irregular surface brightness with mottling and appears brighter on the west side. A mag 12 star is off the east edge 2.1' from center. Forms a striking pair with NGC 7537 3.1' SW. 8" (11/8/80): faint, fairly large, edge-on E-W. A mag 12.5 star is close east. Forms a pair with NGC 7537 3' SW. Located in the Pisces Circlet.
