Steve's Notes

===== NGC 7464 48" (10/26/16): at 610x; moderately bright, fairly small, slightly elongated, ~24"x20", broad concentration with no well defined core or nucleus but fairly high surface brightness. Smallest and faintest in an excellent trio with NGC 7463 40" NW and NGC 7465 1.8' ESE. 18" (7/29/03): very faint, very small, round, 20" diameter, no concentration. Located just 40" SE of the center of NGC 7463 in a trio with NGC 7465 and less than 3' NE of a mag 8.5 star. 17.5" (9/14/85): faint, very small, slightly elongated WSW-ENE, even surface brightness. Located just 42" SE of the center of NGC 7463 with NGC 7465 1.8' ESE. Located 2.5' NE of mag 8.5 SAO 108339. Member of the NGC 7448 group. 13" (9/22/84): appears as an extremely small "knot" attached at the southeast end of NGC 7463. 13" (9/3/83): extremely faint, very small, round, near visual threshold.
