Corwin's Notes
=====
NGC 7338, the second of Tempel's two "new" objects in the area of NGC 7331, is
most likely the double star about 3' sf N7335. Tempel notes that it is closer
to the two southern galaxies following N7331 than to the two northern ones,
even though the position that Dreyer quotes is a bit off.
See also NGC 7327, the first of Tempel's "new" objects here.

NGC 7338
17.5" (10/17/98): at 220x, a single mag 14 star was clearly visible at this position. A fainter companion ~12" preceding was not seen at 280x or 380x.
