Corwin's Notes

===== NGC 7134 is an arc of 4 stars 30 arcsec south of the 11th magnitude star mentioned in the NGC description. Howe (see the IC2 notes) was apparently the first to notice that there is no nebulosity associated with the astersim. Peters's position is not micrometrically measured, but is good enough to positively identify the object.

Steve's Notes

===== NGC 7134 17.5" (7/20/96): interesting asterism consisting of a very tight group of four mag 14/15 stars in a 30" arc concave to the south. Situated just 30" S of a mag 12 star. The brightest star is 25" due south of the mag 12 star and the faintest mag 15 star is at the west end of the arc. Nicely resolved at 280x and 410x. NGC 7131 lies 23' SW.
