Steve's Notes

===== NGC 7124 30" (10/9/15 - OzSky): at 303x; fairly bright, fairly large, elongated 5:2 NW-SE, 2.0'x0.8'. Contains a bright, elongated core that gradually increases to the center where there is a stellar nucleus. A knot was seen near the southeast end of the galaxy. Images reveal this is an HII complex in one of the main spiral arms of the galaxy. A mag 15 star is 1.1' SSW of center of the galaxy. Mag 9.8 HD 207042 lies.4.5' SW.
