===== NGC 7123 18" (7/6/02 - Magellan Observatory, Australia): at 171x, appears moderately bright and large, elongated 2:1 NW-SE, 2.2'x1.1', fairly sharply concentrated with a bright core and much fainter extensions. Located 5.2' WNW of mag 7.8 SAO 257969. This galaxy is an edge-on early-type spiral with a sharp, narrow dust lane (not seen) similar to NGC 7814.
