Corwin's Notes

===== NGC 7093. JH does not tell us much about this cluster. His description in full reads: "The chief star (9m) in a cluster of the 8th class. The double * No. 1660 of my fourth catalogue belongs to this cluster." The cluster is indeed little compressed and scattered, and is apparently centered about two arcminutes south of JH's accurate position for the star. Visual confirmation would be desireable.

Steve's Notes

===== NGC 7093 17.5" (8/25/95): fairly well detached but scattered group highlighted by mag 8.5 SAO 51043 at the west edge. A mag 10 star is on the south side and a total of about two dozen stars in a 5' region. Shows best at 100x. At 220x, the group does not look at all like a cluster and is only distinguished by the few brighter stars. RNGC classifies it nonexistent.
