NGC 7047

17.5" (10/12/85): fairly faint, elongated WNW-ESE, a very faint star is at the WNW end.  Appears like a small comet with a star for the head.  Located 13' S of mag 7.9 SAO 145257.  Similar notes on 8/1/86.
