Corwin's Notes

===== NGC 7024. Even though RNGC claims non-existence for this cluster, it is a very nice object of about 30 stars close to the NGC position. The diameter on the DSS is about 8' x 8', and the brightest stars are around 11th magnitude, not far off JH's estimate of 10.

Steve's Notes

===== NGC 7024 17.5" (10/21/95): this fairly rich Milky Way field shows up reasonably distinctly at low power with a 20 Nagler. The densest part consists of 30 mag 12-14 stars in a 6' irregular outline. There is also a looser group of stars attached to the NE extending the diameter to 15'. The group on the NE side appears part of the same stream and includes several mag 11 stars. Listed as nonexistent in RNGC.
