Steve's Notes

===== NGC 7019 17.5" (7/26/95): very faint, small, round, 40" diameter, low even surface brightness, can just hold steadily with averted vision. Follows a very distinctive "V" shaped asterism of six equal mag 13-13.5 stars with the vertex at the west end. This vertex star is 3.4' due west of center. 17.5" (8/7/91): very faint, very small, round. Located 3' E of a striking line of four mag 13 stars oriented SW-NE which are equally spaced and part of a larger string.
