===== NGC 6906 17.5" (6/20/87): moderately bright, moderately large, elongated SW-NE, small bright core. NGC 6901= IC 1316 lies 18' W. A mag 9.5 star lies 3.6' SW. 13" (7/27/84): fairly faint, fairly small, very small bright core, diffuse outer halo, elongated SW-NE.
