NGC 6770
18" (7/9/02 - Magellan Observatory, Australia): this close companion to NGC 6769 is just 1.9' following and appears fairly faint, fairly small, round, 1.0' diameter with a small brighter core. On the DSS a straight spiral arm points directly towards NGC 6770, which it is evidently interacting. NGC 6771 lies 2.9' S.
