===== NGC 6730 30" (11/3/10 - Coonabarabran, 264x): fairly bright, moderately large, irregularly round, 1.1'x0.9', high surface brightness elliptical. Located 2.2' SW of mag 7.1 HD 176865, which somewhat hampers the view. NGC 6719 lies 31' NW.
