NGC 6722
30" (11/3/10 - Coonabarabran, 264x): fairly bright, very elongated 9:2 NNW-SSE, fairly large, 1.8'x0.4', contains a small brighter core within a bulging middle. Two stars are on the north end (one superimposed and the other barely off). A mag 11.8 star is 2' NW of center. Located 10' due east of mag 8.3 HD 175882 and 7' WNW of mag 7.6 HD 176021. These two bright stars are separated by 4' and a third mag 10.5 to the southeast is collinear.
