Steve's Notes

===== NGC 6719 30" (11/3/10 - Coonabarabran, 264x): fairly bright, fairly large, elongated 3:2 WNW-ESE, 1.5'x1.0', broad concentration but no distinct core or nucleus. A faint star is at the SW edge. Located 10' NNW of mag 5.9 HD 175986. A wide pair of mag 10 stars lie 6.4' ENE and 8.7' ENE and a few other 10th magnitude stars are in the field. NGC 6730 lies 31' SE, close to a 7th magnitude star.
