Steve's Notes

===== NGC 6436 17.5" (7/19/90): faint, elongated 2:1 N-S, even surface brightness. An extremely faint 16th magnitude star is just west of the core. Almost collinear with three mag 13 stars off the south edge which are aligned E-W.
