===== NGC 6346 18" (7/12/07): faint, small, oval, 0.5'x0.35', broad weak concentration. Forms a close pair with NGC 6345 1.7' N. Located 5' S of NGC 6338 in a group. 17.5" (6/18/88): faint, very small, slightly elongated ~E-W, gradually brighter halo. Forms a close pair with NGC 6345 2' N in a NGC 6338 group.
