Corwin's Notes
=====
NGC 6135 may be CGCG 320-015. The bright central part of the galaxy fits
Swift's description, and there are two stars near it. However, the position
is 4.4 minutes of time and 5 arcmin off, so I am not convinced that this is
the correct object. There are no galaxies at reasonable digit errors (one
degree, ten minutes, and one hour of time).
The double star that Wolfgang chose is probably too faint to be Swift's
object. Since I don't see anything else in the area that might be Swift's
nebula, I've put the CGCG object in the Table with a question mark.
Steve's Notes
=====
NGC 6135
18" (7/30/08): fairly faint, moderately large, elongated nearly 3:1 SW-NE, 0.9'x0.35', broad concentration. A mag 14 star is just off the west edge [30" from the center]. The identification of this galaxy with NGC 6135 is very uncertain as it differs quite a bit from Swift's position.
