Corwin's Notes

===== NGC 5955, like NGC 5952 (which see) is not at all likely to also be IC 4552 (also which see).

Steve's Notes

===== NGC 5955 17.5" (7/7/94): very faint, very small, round, 20" diameter. Appears as an unconcentrated glow collinear with a mag 9.5 star 5.2' SE and a mag 10.5 star 7' SE. A mag 16 companion 2.5' NNE was not seen.
