NGC 5748

17.5" (6/20/01): fairly faint, fairly small, slightly elongated NNW-SSE, 0.7'x0.5', weak concentration.  Located between a mag 9.5 star 2.6' NNE and mag 9.2 SAO 83498 6.6' SSW.
