Steve's Notes

===== NGC 5727 17.5" (6/21/93): extremely faint, moderately large, elongated 2:1 NW-SE although edges difficult to determine, 2.0'x1.0', very low even surface brightness. A striking pair of fairly bright wide double stars is 5' SSE consisting of a mag 10/11 duo at 16" and a mag 9/11.5 pair at 30". The two pairs are separated by 1.5'.
