NGC 5559.  Like NGC 5523 and NGC 5548, this figures in J. Binney's discovery
of three "nebulae" on the night of 13 April 1850 with LdR's Leviathan.

NGC 5559

13.1" (6/4/83): very faint, elongated WSW-ENE, fairly small, requires averted vision.  NGC 5548 lies 26' NW.
