===== NGC 5518 17.5" (7/17/01): fairly faint, fairly small, round, 25: diameter. Weak concentration but embedded is a sharp, stellar nucleus, easily seen with direct vision. Squeezed between two mag 10/12 stars 1.2' NW and 1.2' SE, respectively. NGC 5513/NGC 5509 lies 28' SSW.
