Steve's Notes

===== NGC 5448 17.5" (5/22/93): moderately bright, moderately large, very elongated 3:1 WNW-ESE, 2.4'x0.8', very small brighter core, stellar nucleus. A mag 12 star lies 4.4' S of center. Brightest in a group (LGG 372) including NGC 5377, 5425, 5448, 5480, 5481, 5500 and 5520. 8" (4/24/82): faint, very elongated E-W.
