Steve's Notes

===== NGC 5366 17.5" (5/10/91): very faint, very small, elongated 2:1 SW-NE, even surface brightness. Unusual appearance as a mag 14 star is at the NE end and the galaxy appears to extend from the star in a fan-shape like a faint version of Hubble's Variable Nebula. Located 2.7' SSW of mag 9 SAO 120186.
