===== NGC 5283 17.5" (5/11/02): fairly faint, fairly small, round, 1.0' diameter. Increases to a bright core and occasional stellar nucleus (this is a Seyfert galaxy!). Collinear with a mag 14 star 2.4' NE and a mag 10.5 star 4.7' NE. Another mag 14 star lies 2.5' W.
