Steve's Notes

===== NGC 5226 24" (6/1/13): faintest member of the NGC 5230 quartet. At 282x appeared extremely faint, very small, appeared to be elongated ~2:1 N-S, 12"x6". Required averted and could not hold for more than a couple of seconds. Located 5.7' NNE of NGC 5221. This galaxy is surprisingly faint for an NGC, though it was discovered with the 72-inch. 17.5" (5/30/92): Not found.
