===== NGC 4998 18" (6/27/03): very faint, fairly small, slightly elongated, 0.7'x0.5', low even surface brightness. A mag 15 star lies 45" NW. Three mag 10 stars are in the field between 6'-7.5' SW, SSW and SSE.
