NGC 4787

17.5" (3/20/93): very faint, fairly small, very elongated 3:1 N-S, low but uneven surface brightness.  A mag 10 star lies 2.9' WSW.  Forms a pair with NGC 4789 3.0' E.  Member of AGC 1656.
