===== NGC 4708 18" (4/9/05): fairly faint, fairly small, slightly elongated SW-NE, ~0.9'x0.7'. The surface brightness is irregular and the elongation sometimes changes orientation using averted vision. NGC 4700 lies 21' SSW.
