Steve's Notes

===== NGC 4525 18" (4/10/04): moderately bright, fairly large, elongated 2:1 SW-NE, broadly concentrated to an ill-defined 0.8' core. A low surface brightness halo increases the size to at least 2.0'x.1.0'. The halo is irregular or patchy and fades into the background so is difficult to trace, though it is a little brighter on the SW extension.
