Steve's Notes

===== NGC 4313 24" (5/29/14): fairly bright, fairly large, very elongated 7:2 NW-SE, 2.1'x0.6', bright, elongated core increases to a faint stellar nucleus, mottled surface. The northwest extension seems slightly brighter and longer and in addition is slightly tilted with respect to the major axis of the core. 17.5" (4/18/87): moderately bright, moderately large, very elongated NW-SE, very small bright core. Located 22' NE of the NGC 4294/NGC 4299 pair in the same low power field.
