Steve's Notes

===== NGC 4289 18" (5/8/04): very faint, thin edge-on 5:1 N-S, 1.0'x0.2', very weak concentration. This delicate sliver required some care in first acquiring. A mag 8.4 star (HD 107473) just 3.1' E detracts from viewing. Located 47' SSW of M61.
