NGC 4024
18" (3/19/04): moderately bright, slightly elongated, sharply concentrated with a bright 25" core which increases to the center. The fainter, outer halo measures ~1.4'x1.1'. An isosceles triangle of mag 10-11.5 stars (sides 2', 2', 4.8') lies 6' W. Located 1 degree NW of the Antennae (NGC 4038/39) in a large group.
