Corwin's Notes

===== NGC 3210 is a star about an arcminute west-northwest of NGC 3212. (I had called it a double star earlier, but no longer see the very close companion that led to that conclusion.) WH's description is appropriate, and his position (for three objects; the third is NGC 3215) is good. There is another slightly fainter star about 23 arcsec preceding NGC 3210; is it possible that WH glimpsed this, too? If so, it may have added to the illusion of nebulosity.

Steve's Notes

===== NGC 3210 17.5" (1/28/89): NGC 3210 is a pair of mag 13.5/14.5 stars at 24" separation located just 1' WNW of NGC 3212. This double was easily resolved.
