Steve's Notes

===== NGC 3137 18" (3/5/05): faint, large, elongated at least 5:2 N-S, 3.0'x1.2', fairly low surface brightness. Broad, weak concentration in poor seeing. A mag 12 star is on the west side (0.3' from the geometric center). Located 7' SE of mag 9.4 SAO 178462.
