NGC 3082
17.5" (3/16/96): fairly faint, small, elongated 2:1 SSW-NNE, 0.8'x0.4'. A pleasing pair of mag 13 stars (oriented N-S) is just off the NE end. A thin, faint, edge-on galaxy (ESO 435-019), lies 7' NNE (see notes).
