Steve's Notes

===== NGC 2922 17.5" (3/12/94): faint, fairly small, elongated 5:2 WNW-ESE, 1.0'x0.4', appears brighter on the western half. A string of mag 11.5-13.5 stars runs E-W through the 20' field including a mag 13.5 star 39" SW of center. The western end of this unusual string begins at a mag 11.5 star which is 2.7' W of NGC 2922 and ends at an 11th magnitude star which is 18' E of NGC 2922. IC 2493 lies 21' SSW.
