===== NGC 2749 17.5" (4/6/02): moderately bright, fairly small, elongated 4:3 WSW-ENE, 0.9'x0.7', small bright core. Brightest in a group with NGC 2741 30' W, NGC 2744 13' NW, NGC 2745 10' WSW, NGC 2751 4' SE and NGC 2752 5.3' ENE. 13" (12/22/84): fairly faint, small, almost round, bright core, small faint nucleus. Brightest in a group with NGC 2751 4' SE and NGC 2752 5' NE. Also NGC 2744 lies 14' NW.
