Steve's Notes

===== NGC 2747 17.5" (4/6/02): very faint, small, round, 0.4' diameter. Low, even surface brightness and even with concentration could not hold steadily. Collinear with a trio of mag 11 stars which trail to the east. Just beyond the south-eastern star in the chain lies NGC 2752 8.5' SE. Located 8' N of NGC 2749 in a small group of a half-dozen galaxies.
