Corwin's Notes

===== NGC 2072. Unlike NGC 2043, which see, this small cluster is within less than an arcminute of where Baracchi put it, "... following H.1265 [sic; GC 1265 = NGC 2065] by 47s and north 40 [arcsec] is a very faint, small, indistinct patch." Also see "Barrachi-Melbounre" in the "notngc" files for another object in the area not include in the NGC.

Steve's Notes

===== NGC 2072 24" (4/10/08 - Magellan Observatory, Australia): at 260x this LMC cluster appeared moderately bright, fairly small, round, 35"-40" diameter, weak concentration. Located 4' E of NGC 2065 at the east end of a group of 8 NGC clusters (and a couple of fainter ones)
