Corwin's Notes
=====
NGC 1995 is a double star, seen only once by JH. It is about two arcmin
west-northwest of NGC 1998; JH's position is within 25 arcsec of the GSC
position of the brighter of the stars, so the identity is certain.
Steve's Notes
=====
NGC 1995
14" (4/7/16 - Coonabarabran, 142x and 230x): NGC 1995 is a 13" pair of mag 15/15.5 stars just 2.3' NW of NGC 1995. Through thin clouds, low elevation and only fair seeing, it appeared as a very faint unresolved glow. Under these conditions, I would also have mistaken it for a tiny nebula.
