Corwin's Notes
=====
NGC 1921 is an LMC cluster that probably includes the brighter star (or
another, more compact cluster?) about 20 arcsec west. JH's description reads
"vF, oval, r, 40 arcsec". This would fit if he glimpsed both objects, but
did not resolve them.
Steve's Notes
=====
NGC 1921
30" (10/15/15 - OzSky): at 394x; moderately bright but small nebulous glow, with a mag 13.5 star [or an extremely compact cluster] just off the west edge [20" separation]. A very faint star was visible at its southwest edge. There was only a weak response to an NPB filter at 152x. Located at the south end of a very rich region of the LMC (south side of the central bar) just 8' S of the NGC 1918 complex. Numerous other clusters lie ~15' N. A faint cluster H-S 227 was noticed 2' SW. It's a very faint, small, roundish, low surface brightness glow, ~20" diameter.
