Steve's Notes
=====
NGC 1732
24" (11/18/12 - Magellan Observatory, Australia): moderately bright, very small, 20"-24" diameter. At first glance looks like a double star oriented NW-SE embedded in some surrounding haze. But with a careful look one of the "stars" is clearly bloated (perhaps has very close companions) and appears as a very small high surface brightness glow. NGC 1734 lies 7.3' SSE.
