Steve's Notes

===== NGC 1627 17.5" (1/23/93): faint, fairly small, 1.5'-2' diameter, low even surface brightness. A mag 11 star is 2.7' SSW. NGC 1628 lies 10' N and NGC 1621 20' WSW. The photographic descriptions of NGC 1627 and NGC 1628 are reversed in the RNGC.
