===== NGC 1529 24" (11/18/12 - Magellan Observatory, Australia): fairly faint, fairly small, elongated 5:2 NNW-SSE, 45"x18", very small bright core gradually increasing to a stellar nucleus. Forms a pair with brighter NGC 1534 11' NE. Located 55' WSW of mag 3.3 Alpha Reticuli.
