Corwin's Notes

===== NGC 1437 also probably carries the number NGC 1436, which see.

Steve's Notes

===== NGC 1437 18" (1/21/04): large, low surface brightness glow with just a weak concentration. Appears slightly elongated NNW-SSE, perhaps 2.5'x2.0', but edges fade into the background so difficult to determine the outline of the halo. A mag 9.7 star lies 11' NE. Member of the Fornax I cluster.
