Steve's Notes

===== NGC 1422 17.5" (1/12/02): extremely faint, very small, round, 20", low surface brightness. Based on the DSS image, I only viewed the brighter core as this galaxy is very extended SW-NE. Forms a pair with NGC 1414 8' WSW. Located 30' NW of NGC 1426.
