Steve's Notes

===== NGC 1244 24" (4/5/08 - Magellan Observatory, Australia): at 260x appeared as a moderately bright, fairly large edge-on N-S, ~2.0'x0.4'. Exhibits only a broad, weak concentration to a slightly brighter core. Forms a 10' pair with NGC 1246 to the SSE.
